Dec. We delivered Kards to Veteran Hospitals, Rest Homes, and Veteran Housing Center
Nov. – 10,000 Christmas Kards 4 Soldiers were sent
Nov 10 – Veterans Kards given out at the San Jose Veterans Parade
Sept – 10,000 fall Kards 4 Soldiers went out
Nov 6 – Los Gatos Women Group – Debi spoke to the women about Kards 4 Soldiers and helped the ladies make Kards.
Sep 28 – Los Gatos Youth Citizen Speech. I was able to share with these youth, how I have gone on since this award to accomplish many things, and I encouraged them to do the same.
Sep 16 – Cal Run for the Fallen ( I served as support to Gold Star families. I also had the priveldg3e to stand along the 150 mile journey when the names were read & flags posted for each California Fallen Hero. Many times there was no family only 2 Gold Star moms, a PGR, my mom and me, plus the military runner and support staff)

April 26 – Veteran Memorial troop run. delivered 2,000 Kards 4 Soldiers and followed about 100 motorcycles to San Nella Veteran Cemetery for a memorial service Gave out about 50 Kards 4 Veterans

July 4, 2012 Ruth Cormier, Executive Director, and Miss Santa Clara County represented Kards 4 Soldiers at the parade. Many people heard about Kards 4 Soldiers that day, and are interested in helping.

February 2012 – 5,000 Valentines were sent overseas. Many were bright pink, the brightest thing these soldiers have seen in months.
Our Celebration was a success: We welcomed Captain William Williams USAR, EN, and thanked all those who have helped Kards 4 Soldiers this year.

December 29, 2011– 22,000 Kards 4 Soldiers our total for the year
December 21, 2011 – 665 Kards 4 Soldiers delivered to Palo Alto Veterans Hospital.
December 13 – 21,000 Kards 4 Soldiers completed
November 29, 2011 – 20,000 Kards are completed. We have requests for 550,00 Kards 4 Soldiers per year.
October 29, 2011 – 15,000 Kards are completed. That’s not the end, I have requests for 300,000 Kards.
September 2011 – We are gearing up for 15,000 Kards. We need the majority by November 1. Email us if you are working on Kards, then drop them off at one of our locations.
August 19,2011 – We made 571 Kards 4 Soldiers at the Santa Clara County Fair.

July 4, 2011 We made 5,000 cards – our goal for 2011 is 15,000 cards. Please join us in telling our soldiers that we appreciate their fighting for our freedoms.
Kards 4 Soldier sent 11,151 cards overseas to soldiers in 2010
Kards 4 Soldiers is up and running. The dream to get cards overseas to soldiers is becoming a reality. I have the support of our Congressman Mike H0nda and his staff, and we now have the way set to send the cards overseas.
Now I need you. I am committed to make 15,000 cards in 2011. I committed myself to make 9,000 in 2010 and I made 10,000 homemade cards. Can you make 100, 20, or 5; each one counts.
Why 9,000 you say? Well I got a sale on paper and that was all they had.
Why did I want to make some many? Making one was easy, yet important to thank that soldier. Yet when he got his card, the soldier next to him would not have one, so I wanted to make more. Compared to what these men and women are doing for me, making 9,000 cards is not even a drop in the bucket.
Why homemade? It seemed too easy just to pick up a card at the store sign it and send it overseas. I wanted to put something of myself into it.
Why did I print the inside of mine? My mom said I could not hand write 9,000 cards, and she was right. So I added stamps, and personally signed each one. Funny she was ok with me signing 9,000 cards.
May 2011 – 4,000 Kards 4 Soldier so far. We need your donations of cardstock, colored paper and cards.
April 2011- Kards 4 You – sent cards to all the assisted living and nursing homes in Los Gatos, as well as the Los Gatos Polilce, Fire Department, and City Counsel.
March 2011 – We are collecting Kards 4 Soldiers again. Won’t you join us to making cards.
